About Me
I was born in Paterson, New Jersey. I am an incoming eighth grader at Glenfield Middle School. I enjoy robotics, hip-hop dancing, Michael Jackson dance impersonations, tae kwon do, gymnastics, video games, math, engineering, social studies and SCRABBLE.
Experience

Engineering
2011-present: Member of the G-Force Solar Powered Car Team- we built solar powered car from recyclables and competed in the 2011 Junior Solar Sprint.
2011: Member of the Glenfield CI Geometry group that was one of 5 winners in the national math contest, the Cedar Point k’nex Great Thrill Ride Build Off – We built a roller coaster that used 4 motors and 2 pulley systems.
2010-present: Captain of the G-Force National Science Bowl team – we competed at Princeton Physics Laboratory, Princeton University –we won engineering tasks for two consecutive years (2010 bridge building, 2011 towers). Our team placed 6th academically.
2009: Member of the Glenfield Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car Team-we built a hydrogen fuel cell car team and competed in the 2009 National Science Bowl. Our team placed 5th academically.
2008-Member of the Science Olympiad team-we won 3rd place on the bridge building task.
Robotics
2011-present: Jr. Captain of the Got Ice? Team-We have just completed our Phase One requirements and hope to advance to Phase Two.
2009-present: Captain of the G-Force Robotics team for 3 years- This year we won the 2011 FLL Body Forward Challenge and advanced to the New Jersey State Championships.
I received my first NXT robot as a Christmas gift request in 2007. It’s one of my favorite gifts. I love to play with it in my spare time.
2008-Member of Science Olympiad team-we placed 3rd on our bridge building task.

Mathematics
I completed the Algebra I High Honors High School course. Next year, I will take the Geometry High Honors High School course.
2009-2010: Member of the 24 Challenge Junior Varsity Team- I made it to the semi-finals both years.

Music & Arts
2009-present: Member of Glenfield Jazz Band-I play the electric bass and the upright bass.
2009-present: Member of the Glenfield Orchestra- I play the electric bass and the upright bass. I also preformed a Michael Jackson solo to “Thriller”.
2010: 2nd place Glenfield Talent Show-I choreographed and performed a hip-hop dance routine for our group’s, The All Stars, talent show routine.
2007-2009: Member Northeast Band-I played the recorder, ukulele and electric bass.

Sports
2009-present: American Tae Kwon Do United (ATU) Champion for second degree black belts Poomsae Keumgang for three consecutive years.
20007-2009: Member of US Men’s Gymnastics Team (level 5 all-around gymnast)
2007-2009: Member of USAG
2008: USAG Gymnastics Vault Champion for New Jersey, level 5.
2007: Member of United Soccer Travel team-2007 champions
2005-present: Member of the Talium SWAT Team- We are the 2010 ATU Champions.
2003-present: Tae Kwon Do student at Grand Master Cho’s Talium. Currently, I am a 2nd degree black belt, but I will test for my 3rd degree belt in October.

Travel
I have traveled to South Korea, France, England, Canada, and the Continental US (New Jersey, New York, California, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Illinois, Wisconsin)
